Revelry noun: Boisterous festivities, while drinking craft beer!!!
dark golden in color,
fairly clear, white head. moderate citrusy hop aroma. similar flavor, medium bitterness. thin to medium bodied.
12 oz can, no date. Poured into wide mouthed ploughshare glass.
Dark amber orange with a fluffy head of 2 fingers. Lots of hilly lace left behind as the head recedes.
Some interesting sharp spicy grass and evergreen on the nose, white bread, onion, feet, slight tangerine peel.
Flavor brings some clean citrus peel flavors (lime, grapefruit), slight onion, some caramel malt, arm pit, lemon, lemon cleaner, slight spicy white pepper. Remaining flavors of hop resin, sulphur, caramel malt, and onion.
Feel is crisp foremost, with slight acidity, with lots of resins hanging on afterwards.
Overall, definitely more in line with an old school IPA, tons of caramel and onion. A far cry from the new world hops and "tropical fruits and citrus" listed on the can!

Our Cosmico base alt-hopped with Idaho 7 for notes of apricot, orange, red grapefruit, papaya and hints of black tea and resinous pine
Cosmico was designed for those seeking refreshment and balance in a modern American IPA. Over the course of 14 months as we built Mocama, extensive R&D on our pilot brewing system drove us towards this IPA that combines fruit-forward flavors and aroma with a crisp, thirst-quenching drinkability. This beer starts with an agreeable, slightly toasty malt backbone that tones down the bitterness you may recall from the IPAs of yesteryear. The unique ester profile of the “Conan” yeast strain is reminiscent of peaches and serves as a perfect complement to the bright citrus and juicy tropical fruit aromas of Sultana and Citra hops. For bittering, we chose the dual-purpose El Dorado hop varietal to impart a balanced bitterness along with flavors of pear and watermelon.

Mocama (mo-comma) is the name chosen by the Spanish to identify the unique Timucua dialect spoken in a narrow band of coastal territory that stretches from the mouth of the Altamaha River near St. Simons Island, GA south to St. Augustine, Florida. The historical translation of the word Mocama is the ocean, or more succinctly stated by a translator, big water where the sun is born.
Founded by four friends, Mocama Beer Company was born out of a shared desire to brew distinctive beers in a unique space on Amelia Island. We found home a few blocks from historic downtown Fernandina Beach in the former Lasserre Motor Company building. Originally constructed in 1954, the 18,000 square foot building has been transformed into an elegant mid-century taproom.

On the day of April 27th, 2011, Cullman, Alabama was turned upside down by a tornado. While devastation hit hard, something was brewing in the midst of destruction. Actions related to the rebuilding after the storm set in motion a series of fortunate events. An old high school friendship was rekindled and the passion for making good beer was sparked. Our two brew masters had a solid reputation of home brewing, designing new beers, and perfecting the American and German classics. When the two began to collaborate and brew together, magic happened and the synergy took their beer recipes to a new level. You could call it a true brewmance. Behind the scenes stood the rest of the brew crew. The full crew was represented as a rocket scientist, a geologist, an insurance agent, and a cop. What started out as a dream was in the process of becoming reality. New beer was invented, dreams were fueled, and plans were made to birth something this town had not seen since the 1800s: a brewery. Goat Island Brewing was established in early 2015 on a foundation of friendship and a firm belief that it is never too late to go after your dream. So before you begin cast judgement, these old goats know good beer. And as they say, “Life is too short to drink baaad beer!”
Appearance: Pours a lightly hazy, orange-toned body. Fast-fleeting head.
Smell: Citrusy, notes of orange and ruby red grapefruit atop sweaty wheat and melted sugar cubes.
Taste: You get a medium sense of sweetness within the fruity, citrusy taste. Faint hint of mild wheat and a just-as-small hint of acidity. Closes out thinnish and still a bit sweet.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Lightly carbonated.
Overall: Feels more akin to an under-carbonated Mandarin Orange Slice than a Berliner Weisse.
Thin white head with a nice orange hew. Smells of orange with hints of wheat-yeast. It has a nice orange flavor, but It needs more carbonation. Bitter notes of orange peel but not orange sweet more grapefruit like, but not too sour. Easily drinkable on a hot day.. There is no lacing on the glass. A bit more protein/head/carbonation would make this amazing, but it is more blood orange than Berliner weisse.
Pours a creamy looking orange color. 1 finger white head. The head retention is pretty good. No lacing on the glass.
The nose hit me as I was pouring, and a nice orange aroma. Up close I'm getting the same pleasing orange aroma.
Taste - Nice blood orange flavor, it also has a back up of a wheat flavor. Slight banana, and clove.
The body is decent. The tartness from the blood orange lingers.
Very tasty and delicious beer.

Armed Forces Brewing Company is a Military tribute craft brewing company comprised of four brands that pay homage to our great American Military: both active duty and Veterans. Built by an experienced team that combines an award-winning Brewmaster, successful Veterans of the restaurant and hospitality industry, and Military Veterans including one of the most famous US Navy SEALs in the world, Armed Forces Brewing Company has successfully completed a test market run and is ready to expand to national and global distribution.
We are not a local craft beer. Armed Forces Brewing Company has national and global demand, the ability to mass scale, and our three brands (Seawolf, Soldier and Airmen) are already in demand for national and global distribution and export into Military Exchange stores.
Lightly hazed gold body with a small white head and very little lacing. Aroma of caramel malts trying to overpower vegetables. Grainy, sweet corn and butterscotch flavors with an herbal aftertaste. Best drank as cold as possible. Short lived finish. Nice graphics on the can is the only positive. Contract brewed by New Realm out of Virginia. Expensive lesson.
Picked up a Shopper's in Germantown to have a St. Patty's day drop and didn't see anything else I hadn't tried so I picked this up along with a four pack of Guinness tall boys.
A little corny in the nose but not offensive for the style. A little sour too but totally drinkable, with mellow hop notes and a grainy backbone that does the bare minimum for the style. Not a good beer, but cool for slumming it a touch on St. Patty's Day for a few before moving on.

Commonwealth was established in 2015 in Virginia Beach by Natalie and Jeramy Biggie to embody their life’s passions; connections to family, friends, the ocean, and making creatively original craft beers.
Founded in 2015 and located within the walls of the historic Chesapeake Beach #4, a former Fire and Rescue Station, Commonwealth is a warm, expansive beach brewery known for creating a huge array of creative, delicious beers in all styles.
Significant soul searching led to the understanding that time well spent is found by creating something you love while spending time with family and friends. Tucked away in the funky beach cottage community of Chic’s Beach in Virginia Beach, VA, we are doing just that. Come share in a pint with the good people of Virginia.
No canning date (released on 4/16/22, so presumably canned within a few days of that date); consumed on 9/13/22
Pours a viscous, jet-brown hue capped with ¾ of a finger of pale hazelnut-tinged foam; sub-par head retention leaves an almost entirely blank surface, slight, frothy collar, and a sparse, temporary spread of soapy lacing.
Aroma highlights chunky peanut butter cups and a light roast upfront, with a slight mineralic tinge grazing the airy whipped lactose undertone building toward cheesecake and flaky graham cracker.
Taste opens to chunky peanut butter and a firm cocoa backdrop; a cheesecake inflection sweetens an otherwise charry graham cracker lingering, ultimately peaking with a wispy roast fading through the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-full body and a lower-end carbonation, densely textured and silky, with a semi-creamy mid-palate trending somewhat sticky as a slightly drying roast lingers through the back end.
Heavy and sweet, a weird, wispy minerality plays interference with the more steadily defined peanut butter and cheesecake elements; minimal roast, though not entirely saccharine.
Thick. Nutty with a sweet finish. Coats my throat going down with flavors. Waiting for it to warm up some too. Tasty AF

Half-Life is always a crowd favorite for both craft beer aficionados and those new to the beer scene. It is an unfiltered Northeast inspired IPA with an aroma that is interesting without being overpowering. Upon first sip, you will immediately pick up on the citrus characteristics. Soon to follow will be stone fruit and pine. But this is not a bitter IPA, friends. It is perfectly balanced with a focus on the delicious aroma. Half-Life finishes with a subtle and wheaty breadiness. It’s so perfectly light and crisp that it would be an amazing session beer if it weren’t for the 6% ABV, so sip and enjoy.

As with most craft beer businesses, Manhattan Project Beer Company began as a passionate hobby. Although our love for craft beer precedes the formation of Manhattan Project Beer Co, the three of us first came together in 2010 to design a ground-up beer to meet certain specifications for a significant event, Karl and I’s wedding. The beer was a collaboration of our favorite homebrew styles at the time, American brown ale and all things Belgian. (Keep in mind that this was over ten years ago!)
During the 8-month design period, we realized the unique synergy achieved by combining each person’s particular skill set. Our common goal was to create a beer that would be appreciated by the creators, other craft beer drinkers, and those not yet exposed to beers beyond traditional American Lagers.
The project was a success. The beer started as an American Brown Ale and evolved into a Belgian Dark. As it is called today, Inception has a well-balanced Old World flavor that went on to win multiple awards.
We formalized under the name Manhattan Project, given our creative, collaborative, experimental, and scientific approach to beer making (not to mention the plethora of cool beer names like Half-Life and Superfortress). Manhattan Project entered its first competitive festival in May of 2013, taking first place in American IPA with a light, crisp IPA called Hoppenheimer.
Pours an off yellow with a white head. Very good aroma of citrus and a solid deep taste with a good amount of bitterness. A bit of a bitter aftertaste but a very solid beer.
Look is a dirty straw yellow. The smell is tight and hidden but could also be the flying saucer pour in ft worth. Smells of lemon and lime rinds. Taste is good and follows the citrus smell with a slight bitter aftertaste. Easy to drink and alcohol content is not noticeble.
Can at trailer park 2.21.22 Holiday Tasting. Hazy golden pour with white sheen fleeting. Citrus, light fruit juice, sweet pale malt aromas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly juiced citrus, light pit fruit flavors are lightly sweet smooth easy barely bitter finish ___tasty juiced brew
It pours a hazy light amber/orange color.
The head disappears fairly quickly.
Smells of citrus and pine.
My first impression of the taste is citrus followed by some dryness. Not very hoppy or malty.
Seems medium-bodied with a fair amount of carbonation.
Not my favorite hazy IPA but not bad.

'Hazy-O!' starts with literally truckloads of oats & wheat for a full body, then it’s liberally dry-hopped to deliver juicy tropical notes of citrus, mango and pineapple! But the real star is our secret ingredient: oats! This Hazy IPA uses 4 types of oats including: malted oats, providing cloudiness & mouthfeel; rolled oats, creating silky mouthfeel; naked oats, providing a subtle toasted and nutty flavor; and oat milk to amplify the haze and mouthfeel for a beer that is incredibly juicy & hop-forward while being smooth and refreshing! Hazy-O!’s silky soft, creamy mouthfeel makes it drink like a 5% ABV session sipper, even though it is a 7.1% ABV powerhouse!

Hazy, almost clear (?) golden, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of orange, mango, melon, biscuit. Taste has sweetish mango & melon over a biscuity malt base. Piney hoppy finish with sourish citrus flesh and bitter citrus peel. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Decent beer, not a very good Hazy; I expected more.
Draft at DFH Brewings & Eats. Hazy golden with a white head. Orange, pineapple, passionfruit aroma. Flavor is clean, tasty, nice citrus and tropical. Medium feel. Not an elite hazy by any means, but not a bad one either.
On tap at The Old Town Pour House in the Oakbrook IL. mall, dispensed to stemware showing a rather clear, golden hue considering all of the touted oats & wheat, with a decent layer of soft white froth, and a band of lacing that clung to the glass. The nose was malty, with citrus, pit fruit, and some tropical influence. Medium bodied, the taste was similar notes as the aroma, with lively, moderately seltzer-like carbonation, and citrusy, rind-like, and lightly resinous bitterness that prompted a rather dry & crisp finish.

Thick, murky orange pour from the tap in Meridian ID; no light is making it through this brew. First Offshoot brew for me, curious to see how they do with this style. Pretty juicy and tropical fruit-forward with notes of berry and mango, apricot and stone fruit...pretty decent malt backbone lends a sweet character to this one and harmonizes that juicy tropical fruit note throughout. Thicker body than I expected, though the alcohol was fairly invisible. Pretty good stuff.
Appearance - Pours a hazy warm amber with three fingers of foamy off-white head. Smell - Tropical fruits (pineapple, mango), citrus fruits (orange and lemon peel), bready caramel malts, orange marmalade, hint of lemongrass, earthy yeast. Taste - Caramel and marmalade, sweet fruit flavors (almost jam-like) of mango and orange, along with the bready malts. Not as fruit juice forward as one would expect from the style. Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Slightly sticky. Overall - A surprising hazy double IPA offering that isn't so in-your-face with tropical fruit juice flavor, leaning more toward the sweet jammy side.
